Russia, Moscow, January 25, 2012
Early morning of January 25, 2012. I'm standing on the last built floor (~60th) of a skyscraper that is currently under construction in Moscow City district. No walls, no fencing. A strong wind comes from everywhere. -30C is outside, but it feels like -45C. Moscow is not sleeping though it can seem so. Millions of people rush here and there for their business.
You can see the frozen Moscow river, the illuminated building of the hotel Radisson BLU Ukraine, the White House across the river, the building of the Ministry of External Affairs (in the right part of the photo), and a lot of houses, that seem very small from my point.
Special thanks for organizing the shooting.
